Active Ingredient: Flunixin Meglumine 50mg/ml
 
Flunixin (Generic Banamine) is recommended for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the horse.  
 
Studies have demonstrated that onset activity is within 2 hours. The peak response occurs between 12 and 16 hours and the duration of activity is 24-36 hours.
 
Dosage and Administration: Administer on the advice of a veterinarian. The usual dosage for adult horses is 10ml.  NOTE: Dosages are usually reduced for ponies, who are more at-risk for NSAID side effects, as well as horses with decreased kidney or liver function, such as older horses.
