Active Ingredient: Magnesium Sulfate 200mg/ml

Magnesium plays an important part in muscle and nerve function, therefore horses deficient in this important element can show signs of excitability, nervousness, wariness, and muscle tremors.  This gives magnesium its reputation for having a calming effect on equines.  A deficient horse is likely to have a poor tolerance to work and its muscles will tie up quite quickly.

Magnesium is also known to play an important part in reducing equine obesity, and can lessen the risk of laminitis in animals prone to it during periods of strong spring grass growth.

Dosage and Administration:  Administer on the advice of your veterinarian. The usual dose for horses is 25ml four to six hours before hard work or as a supplemental source of magnesium.

NOTE: Larger doses can have a laxative effect.

For use as a supplemental source of Vitamins and Amino Acids in horses. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
