Active Ingredient: Cimetidine 500 mg/5cc Dose
Inactive Ingredients:  Lactose Monohydrate, Stevia, and Natural Apple Flavor.
 
Cimetidine (Generic for Tagamet) may be used to reduce stomach acid production in horses. Cimetidine can be used to aid in the treatment of existing ulcers and to help prevent the development of ulcers. Cimetidine may also be used in the treatment of reflux and/or to reduce inflammation of the esophagus or stomach.
 
Cimetidine is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist which inhibits stomach acid production. It's largely used in humans and animals for the treatment of peptic ulcers and heartburn.
 
Cimetidine belongs to a class of medications called histamine H2-antagonists.  Histamine is a natural chemical in the body that stimulates stomach cells to produce stomach acid.  Histamine H2-antagonists inhibit the action of histamine on the acid-producing cells of the stomach which thereby reduces stomach acid.  Cimetidine was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 1977.
 
Dosage and Administration:  Administer one level scoop by oral administration three times daily - preferably one hour before each meal.
