L-Carnitine is an amino acid supplement that may help to enhance energy production and also helps transport fats to muscle cells.
 
L-Carnitine is essential in the transport of fats into muscle cells for energy production. The muscle levels of L-carnitine can determine the exercise capacity of muscles in horses.  By using fats as energy for muscle contractions, the body is sparing glycogen and also delaying the accumulation of lactic acid in muscles.
 
L-Carnitine delays muscle fatigue by reducing lactic acid formation while also improving performance and endurance.
 
Dosage and Administration:  Administer on the advice of a veterinarian. The usual dosage is 20-25ml. Use 2-3 times weekly. Give the final dose 4-6 hours before hard work.
